Keep hope alive. Keep faith alive.

In the heat of the weather we’re enduring, in the heat of the political climate, in the despair of the heat of violence around the world and in our lives, where can we turn for respite? Where do we turn for relief, hope and morsels of comforting Good News. We turn to God in prayer for the assurance that God can hear our discomfort and unrest. A faithful follower of Jesus offers these words, “I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worth comparing with the glory about to be revealed to us. We know that the whole creation has been groaning in labor pains until now. The Spirit helps us in our weakness. We know that all things work together for good. For I am convinced that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor political leaders, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers, nor height, nor depth, nor anything in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God.” Romans 8

Better days are coming, goodness will prevail. Keep this hope alive. Keep faith alive. The love of God is stronger, more powerful than any other force on earth. It is powerful when we share the love of God with one another.

God’s Blessings Upon You,  Pastor Sara
