Zwingli this Weekend

Good evening, Zwingli Church!

There’s a lot going on at Zwingli Church this weekend.

Friday is the bazaar/auction/dinner.  I guessing you all know the shtick!  I expect to see you at the Montrose Town Hall!

On Saturday night you’ll set your clocks back one hour and enjoy an extra hour of sleep before coming to worship Sunday morning.

We’ll be leaving the series of “Big Stories of the Bible” for a week to begin a two Sunday series on what Jesus said about money (a hint – he said a lot!).   Obviously, figuring out how to be faithful with our money (or perhaps it’s God’s money?!?) is a life-long project, but now is always a good day to start that kind of a big, ambitious project!  We’ll start this Sunday by thinking about why giving is such an important discipline and then we’ll do some other things for a couple weeks, and then come back to the giving theme for the Sunday following Thanksgiving.

Never forget how much God loves you!
