Journeying through Holy Week:

from the Table, to the Cross, to the Empty Tomb

In this holiest week of our Christian journey, let us not skip lightly from Palm Sunday “hosannas!” to Easter morning “hallelujahs!” Take time for stillness as you consider our Lord’s ultimate sacrifice for us. Watch in silence at the foot of the cross, and make time to feel the emptiness of Holy Saturday. When we have gone through the suffering, and death, and the silence of His death, how much more can we truly comprehend the magnificence of New Life and His empty tomb on Easter morning!

Maundy Thursday, March 28, 6:30 pm

Our worship will recall the last night of Jesus’ life (John 13), as we gather around tables for portions of the Seder meal. Handwashing will help us recall how Jesus washed the disciples’ feet in the manner of a servant, and then commanded us to love and serve one another in the same way. We will receive communion, remembering how Jesus instituted the Lord’s Supper.
